Uploads and drafts are cleaned up after the export flow. The signed ZIP link lasts ten minutes from creation; ZIP deletion is scheduled separately after ten minutes. Guaranteed physical deletion after a process stops and cleanup of all additional timeline PDFs have not yet been verified.

Account data remains until account deletion. Payment, consent and required business records, including purchased certificate PDFs, are retained separately according to legal requirements. The code does not guarantee a specific log retention period. Export files follow the time limits and cleanup limitations described above. See the privacy policy for details.

Pro is a one-time payment. A separate checkbox lets you request early performance before Stripe Checkout; expiration of the withdrawal right depends on the statutory requirements.

Hosting uses Render, payments use Stripe, AI functions use OpenAI and transactional email uses Brevo. Echo Vault has its own event measurement; Plausible is not actively integrated in the reviewed version.

Echo Vault is a digital vault for text, files and audio. You structure your legacy, add instructions and hand over the local ZIP with optional password protection yourself – with no server release.

Time capsule = personal ZIP file (texts/images/audio). Open date = symbolic reminder like an envelope marked “Do not open before”. No automatic server release or cloud opening; you decide when it is read.

Free provides a local ZIP containing text, files and audio that you download, keep and pass on yourself. When a usable personality profile is available, Pro may also include chat_profile.json, instructions and a signed AI chat link. Chat history is not automatically backed up or exported.

Content is processed locally or only temporarily, and the ZIP is made available for download. Account, consent, payment and other required business records are stored separately.

You can use Pro without an account. After payment, guest access applies to your current browser session. If you choose to use an account, Pro is also linked to it.

Include instructions in the ZIP, keep the password separately and record where to find the archive and access details. You or a trusted person handle the handover. Temporary export processing and required account and purchase records are separate.

Yes. Export an up-to-date ZIP/PDF at any time and request full deletion. After export we automatically remove temporary files; statutory retention duties remain.

Stripe confirms the payment. Pro is then activated for your account or current browser session. You complete the wizard yourself, review the preview, generate the ZIP and download it. Payment does not automatically create or send your legacy.

Echo Vault runs in the browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) from 2023 onward. For audio we recommend a headset and stable connection. All features work without installation; mobile devices are fully supported.
