Process after your payment

From activation to handover – every step is explained calmly and clearly. You decide what goes to whom and when it arrives.

Note: Download the ZIP, keep it safe yourself and arrange its handover. Doneo24 Echo does not automatically deliver your content. It does not replace legal advice. A legally valid will must meet the applicable legal requirements.

The four-step wizard & preview

The wizard guides you step by step, and you can jump directly to any stage.

  1. Step 1 – About you: name, occasion, message type, optional password protection and opening date.
  2. Step 2 – Message: free writing, optional translation and a Pro AI draft with preview and apply action.
  3. Step 3 – Attachments: files, audio, timeline and notes are each added to the ZIP.
  4. Step 4 – AI chat dialogue (Pro): style and persona for the later chat, stored as JSON rather than in the PDF.
  5. Preview & generate: review your content and generate the legacy ZIP. Free has no chat link; Pro includes the profile and chat link.

Step by step

Work through the wizard at your own pace. Session data is temporary, so download your completed ZIP and keep your own copy.

  1. 1. Activation

    After payment, Pro is activated. With Free you can start immediately.

  2. 2. Recipients & timing

    Decide who receives your message and when it should be delivered.

  3. 3. Create content

    Write letters, upload files, record a short audio message (up to 2 min).

  4. 4. Review & preview

    Take your time to review everything.

  5. 5. ZIP & password

    We generate a local ZIP with optional password protection. Optionally set an extra password or an opening date for your ZIP time capsule.

  6. 6. Handover

    Your ZIP with all information, messages and documents is ready for you to download.

  7. Store the ZIP

    With Pro and a usable profile, the ZIP includes a signed AI chat link. You decide who receives the archive and chat access.

  8. 8. Confirmation & management

    Keep your downloaded ZIP safe. To make changes, create a new ZIP; this does not revoke copies you have already shared.

Good preparation (optional)

  • Have recipient names & contact details ready.
  • Collect key documents (PDFs, images, messages, ZIPs).
  • Briefly note what should be handed over and when.

Security & privacy at a glance

  • Optional password protection: During export, you decide whether the local ZIP is password-protected.
  • Free: The ZIP is created temporarily on the server; download it and keep your own copy.
  • Link inside the ZIP: you control distribution.
  • ZIP download: The signed link is valid for ten minutes from creation; repeat downloads are possible while the file is available.
  • Tracking: none. No profiles, no sharing without your consent.

Edit, add, withdraw

You control how you hand over the file you keep locally. Create a new ZIP when you make changes. Doneo24 Echo cannot revoke copies you have already shared.

  • Free: create a new version and use the new ZIP.
  • Pro: Updates create a new ZIP with the refreshed avatar/chat dialogue link.
