What it is not
Not a human person or voice, not professional advice, and no access to third-party data.
Separate from the AI writing assistant
The optional writing assistant only helps the creator formulate text. Suggestions are used only after explicit acceptance. Step 4 details exclusively improve the later AI chat dialogue and do not automatically appear in the PDF.
From the form to the recipient
- In step 4, the creator records role, emotions, language style, notes, anecdotes, phrases, quirks, values and boundaries.
- Pro for €4.99 adds chat_profile.json, personality.json, bilingual instructions and a signed access link to the local ZIP with optional password protection when sufficient details are available.
- The recipient opens the link and selects the JSON file locally in the browser. The profile is not in the link.
- For a response, the browser sends the validated profile and question to Echo Vault and the configured AI provider at runtime. Echo Vault does not permanently store profile, question or response.
- The history remains only in the open browser tab and can deliberately be exported locally or completely deleted.

Access and boundaries
Only Pro creations receive signed access. Manipulated links are rejected and rate limits remain active. Long-term availability requires the operator to retain CHAT_ACCESS_SECRET securely and permanently.
